The Launch of the National Strategy of Intellectual Property (IP)

His Excellency the Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced the launch of the National Strategy for Intellectual Property (IP), crowning the efforts of ERRADA the Egyptian Regulatory Reform and Development Activity initiative under the supervision of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, which lasted for more than a year and a half in the preparation of this important document. ERRADA has contributed in the preparation of the strategy in partnership with many ministries and concerned bodies, and provided various forms of support to reach the final picture of the strategy in a manner befitting the history of the Egyptian state and what it aspires to in the future in this regard.
The announcement of the launch of the strategy came during the ceremony, which was held under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic and in the presence of Mr. Darren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), who praised the measures taken by Egypt within the framework of intellectual property rights.
The ceremony was attended by many ministers, many ambassadors of foreign countries and a number of representatives of international bodies, as well as a number of deputies of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council,
a number of judges and university professors. Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen was represented in the audience by Judge Ahmed El-Sisi and Judge Mohamed Sameh the legal advisors of the inative.
