While President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced on November 15, 2020, the necessity of continuing to reduce the customs release time and simplify procedures to reach the best international standards, to facilitate the trade process, the entry of goods, and the governance of the export and import process to and from the state, the initiative has ended The Egyptian Business Climate Reform “ERRADA” from the study presented to your Excellency in this regard, after holding several consultation sessions with the Federation of Industries and Chambers of Commerce and the Egyptian and foreign business community, as well as some government agencies that have a relationship with cross-border trade, and they all emphasized the need to conduct some Amendments to legislation and procedures for facilitating cross-border trade. Therefore, this study deals with legislation that hinders cross-border trade and proposes proposals in this regard.
