New procedures to facilitate the international trade system and improve Egypt’s ranking in the “Trade across Borders” indicator

Trade across Borders

Within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Egyptian Regulatory Reform and Development ( ERRADA ), the foreign trade sector, the General Organization for Export and Import Control at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and several other partners, including the Customs Authority ( Ministry of Finance), Alexandria port authorities, Red Sea ports at the Ministry of Transport, and other Governmental and non-Governmental agencies, “ERRADA” provided and recommended for several proposals to facilitate the international trade system in Egypt in order to improve Egypt’s ranking in the “Trade across-Borders” indicator and then improve Egypt’s general ranking in the “Doing Business” report, which is issued annually by the World Bank.

These proposals have actually turned into real procedures in the practical implementation on the ground as shown in the attached file.
